Inster 2 adaptation - has anyone else had extended seat runners fitted?

I recently discovered that there is an adaptation that can be done to my prospective new car that will massively increase the leg room, viz. an extended seat runner. I am 6ft4 with long legs and the inster ticks most of my boxes except it is an "ok" fit, not perfect.
Legs are a bit bunched up and because of the short space getting into the car I have to put the steering wheel up when sitting in the car, this then means getting into and out of the car I would have to move the steering wheel each time I get into or out of the car.
So I spoke to Motability and they are ok with me getting extended seat runners fitted to get in and out of the car, but when I checked with the dealer, their installer said they could not fit them.
I am wondering whether this was that particular installer, or whether it is that they cannot be fitted to the Inster.
Just wondering if anyone else has had extended seat runners fitted and to what car you had them fitted?
