Access Card

Hi Not sure if this is in the right place but I’m interested in applying for an Access Card. Does anyone know what it means when it says ‘in excess of what could be reasonably expected of family or friends’ it’s very vague and subjective imo

There are some charities that can help you apply.
It sounds like though, it's talking about areas where you need more support than family or friends can provide.
It's difficult to get the +1 symbol, for example because they argue that most tasks don't need an essential companion, that one I remember because I emailed to complain, and the manager granted the +1 based on my needs.
It's worth going for because more, and more companies have started to team up with them.
