    Yes, I think liminal spaces can be very subjective, it's definitely interesting hearing other people's perspectives on them.

    @Rachel_Scope all my posts are from Pinterest. I know those letters on the bed space and where they're placed and how they're written definitely creeps me out too!!

    Re that what we see in these spaces is so different.... Like many others would say, I think that is the very definition of true art.

    Just in case anyone is interested because of different perspectives I don't actually find the bed pictures to be that creepy, and I definitely don't find the writing adds any creepiness. They still look totally liminal to me though and I do like them, I like the writing too.

    I do find this one creepy though. Maybe someone could add a caption to it? Maybe I'll add one too.

    That's a great example @Ross1975! I recognised it straightaway. The caption first came to mind for that picture is 'welcome home. sweet dreams'. It's definitely very creepy. Maybe it's the bluriness?

    I haven't thought to look on pinterest @StarryEyed. I'll have to look tomorrow and find some good pictures ๐Ÿ˜Š

    It's such an awesome song, one of my all time favourites, so nostalgic too. It's crazy how young he looks in this now, I remember how when I first saw the video or heard the song he was a lot older than me, I was only 11 at the time.

    Here we go, did a bit of brainstorming with ChatGPT, bouncing ideas off each other, and we came up with this caption, I then put on the text and got ChatGPT to curve it.

    I'm curious as to the different perceptions of this space. My guesses are:

    @Emilee peaceful

    @Ross1975 awesome

    @Rachel_Scope pleasantly creepy

    That's a great pic, I find it otherworldly but not creepy, fairly peaceful too. The arches remind me of a skeleton. It's place I'd like to walk around, and go for a swim in the pool as long as the water is warm enough.

    @Ross1975 I never thought of a skeleton. Cool! And your last space - I think that's the beauty and/or unsettling part of a lot of these spaces, that they contain inanimate objects yet seem to be alive. Amazing!

    BTW, what made you think I moved to the UK?

    To add to your Rick Astley song that came out in 1987, here's one that came out the next year, when you were 12. I absolutely adored the band, this song and the video. In hindsight, I'm thinking this might be liminal. This is "She Drives Me Crazy" by Fine Young Cannibals.

    Peaceful but a little bit haunting, if that makes sense?

    I get what you mean with the skeleton, I can't explain why but that is how it feels

    That's another great song, I like Fine Young Cannibals.

    At first I assumed you were in the UK, but then you asked me do you guys have that breakfast menu in the UK? which made it sound as though you wasn't in the UK, and so because of the picture that you put up of your car in America I think it was, it made me think you must live there then, then when you said you don't live in America I thought you must live in the UK after all, lol.

    For some reason I find the thing on the right to be a bit sinister, I don't know why.

    Definitely I understand that sentiment of haunting yet peaceful. It's a great example of ambivalence, which is a recurring theme I see in the spaces. By nature, I have a lot of ambivalence, so I pick up on that a lot in these spaces. It's one of the things I really like about these spaces.

    @Ross1975 that is so hilarious! Omg! I often refer to being here, but I'm sure you don't read all the threads. Full disclosure to avoid further confusion: I was born in Sweden to a Swedish Mom and Spanish Dad, left Sweden at 6 weeks old to live a year in the US, then we moved to Canada, where I remained until I moved here. There you go. Full disclosure. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

    Your slide looks a little weird at first glance, but very weird on closer inspection, which reveals foam on the bottom of one slide, strangely placed ceiling lights and oddly painted clouds (?) on the walls. Mind bender in the final analysis. ๐Ÿ˜ The other space.... The object on the right looks like some kind of tower with a person on top wearing a large hat and a massive preying mantis climbing up the tower. ๐Ÿซช
