How to calculate if backdated LCWRA is owed?

I've been searching but am still somewhat unclear:

UC claimed (not a migration from ESA) 4/3/25 and first fit note reported 7/4/25 (1/3/25 - 30/6/25). Journal says that it was accepted on 10/6/25. New fit note (til October) reported 19/6/25 and accepted 24/6/25

UC50 was submitted 1/7/25 and LCWRA decision confirmed on 28/8/25.

Payment date is 13th with notification of amount made on 9th and so I can see that the LCWRA is now included in the monthly payment. However I am really struggling to know if any backdated money is owed as i am unsure of the assessment period deadlines and how that works.

As far as I understand it the LWCRA should be paid from the 14th week from the first fit note being reported; so in the 4th assessment period. And by my calculations that would be the July/August one…but am I right? And if so how many weeks back dated would that be? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Oh and I am very aware that the LCWRA decision has been incredibly quick compared to what many people seem to go through…no interview, presumably due to amount and complexity of health and disability info given; though i know people in similar complex situations who have nevertheless been called to interview…so seems very random.

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is added to your payment. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

UC operates on a calendar month basis and doesn't do partial week payments etc.

Looking at the information given it is my estimate that no backpay is due:

    April/May: AP 1

    May/June: AP 2

    July/August: AP 3

    August/September: Eligible for LCWRA element

September 13th: First LCWRA element paid.

Ah OK, thanks very much. Sorry I was probably a bit ambiguous about the assessment period and back dated moneys…I knew that no money was owed for the first 3 assessment periods but wasn't sure if any weeks after that were due. cheers
