I was awarded this on the 10th june2025, I have been providing fit notes with no gap from 8th February 2025, I am wondering when I will receive payment and I am informed backdated payments is with a decision maker, I usually get paid on last day of the month

That's longer than I'd expect for a LCWRA award to be sorted out.

Are you sure there were no gaps in Fit Notes- it's the date they are given to UC that counts, not the start date written on them.

Any gap would impact when UC start the waiting period.

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA is eligible for payment* No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

*Do you claim with a partner who gets LCWRA themselves?

Do you have any Transitional Protection on your claim?

I moved from a single claim to a joint claim 2 months ago, I have definitely not had any gaps in my fit notes,

As I know now you recently swapped from a single to couple claim I wouldn't expect you to have TP.

Based on the information given I can't see any reason UC haven't started paying you for LCWRA.

It was definitely LCWRA you were awarded, and not LCW?

If it is definitely LCWRA then I'd suggest contacting UC via Journal note (payment option), asking why the delay in sorting out your LCWRA award.

UC do need time once you receive the decision to process everything, but three months is excessive.
