Pip video tribunal
well my tribunal is now less than a week away, Monday 13th to be exact. My tribunal is by video link and I think I have done my best to prepare and good evidence has been submitted etc does anyone have any solid advice for me to make sure that I present myself in the best possible position for a successful outcome?

Hi @Lanson66
I am wishing you the best of luck for the tribunal! I really hope it goes well and you get the right outcome for yourself!
There is an old thread on pip tribunal video hearing that may be helpful to explore đŸ˜„0 -
Keep calm and have your notes with you to help you answer questions. The people at your tribunal are professional people and it is completely different to an assessment. Set yourself up in a nice quiet area where you will be comfortable too.

well my video tribunal was today and if I am honest I felt it went as well as it could. There were 3 panel members, judge, doctor and a disability expert. I was questioned by all 3, the doctor was the only one who seemed somewhat brash and not sympathetic with her questioning but I engaged well and answered all questions. The judge seemed knowledgable, he was aware of my reasoning for questioning the DWP decision and thanked me for the additional supporting evidence to support my argument. He told me that a decision would be made and I would be notified in a few days, DWP did not attend. I can’t find any information on the online portal so I am in the hands of the gods and awaiting to hear this week. Thanks again for the positivity and messages of good luck

Well, I have literally just received a notification from the court following my tribunal hearing yesterday.. it went in my favour, high award for both daily living and mobility!! That’s a complete turn around from 0 points from the assessment!!
Thank you everyone for the support and advice and clearly a testament to not giving up!5 -

Congratulations @Lanson66. Hi everyone, I received a negative decision and asked for a mandatory reconsideration, and it was the same. But that was May, and i did not have the energy for the tribunal. I want to go to the tribunal now, but I realised I should have done that a month ago. The letter says I can apply online with he details of a representative. Where can I get one, please? I have also been waiting for an ADHD and dyslexia assessment for about a year now, I dont know what next steps I can take?

My tribunal was 13 October and today I had a call from DWP to check bank details and ask if I wanted a lump sum or fazed payments. Although he was not able to confirm a final figure for the back payment he said that the payment would be 7 to 10 days. If payment is made in 10 days it will be less than 3 weeks! Does this make sense a timeframe of 10 days after bank details confirmed ?

It takes up to 8 weeks following a Tribunal decision, so that fits into the expected timescale.

Yes Kimi I am aware of the general time frame for payment but I was questioning the usual timing for the payment to appear after DWP have called to confirm bank details and. An online search states that payment is usually made in 3 days!
