Hoping to find some friendship
Hi everyone,
I have joined the community to hopefully find some friendship. I am a full time carer for my 13 year old Son. He has complex health needs including visual impairments and cerebral palsy. He is not able to attend school and has been at home for over two years. I am solo parenting and have a younger Son too. We are all neurodivergent. It is very isolating as we have no friends or family at all, it's just the three of us.

Hi @Izzylj and welcome to the community 😊 There are loads of discussions you can get involved in to make some connections. We've got the Coffee Lounge where you can have a chat. Do you have any interests you'd like to chat about?

Hi @Izzylj
I'm Sara one of the CP specialists here at Scope.
If you would like a conversation, please feel free to contact our CP Network team.
I would also recommend two Facebook pages called Cerebral Palsy UK and Parents of Children with CP. It's a space for families who have children with CP, to ask questions and get advice and support. I've included the links here.
Kind Regards.
