    @Wibbles that's sooooo adorable 🥰

    I find this so sad yet so beautifully provocative and profound...

    Just picked up some Chrimbo clearance bargains from Tesco.

    The boxes of Christmas crackers were only £1.30 each, they look so nice it'll be a shame to pull them apart. Brewdog 12 Beers of Christmas £13.65 which works out as each beer costing just £1.13 which is quite cheap for a can of craft beer, they normally sell for a lot more than that (I've had the Elvis Juice before and it's incredible). Spicy Maple Tortilla Rolls just 75p. And each bag of nuts cost just 70p, which is nuts for nuts (they were selling at £3 each). There were also 2 litre bottles of limited edition Pepsi Gingerbread for just 50p each but I didn't buy them as I'm trying to look after my health.

    Is it just me thinking the name of Elvis Juice sounds a bit… I don't know, creepy? Don't want to rain on your parade, @Ross1975 Don't get me wrong, especially since you seem to like the stuff. But it sounds so weird.

    Just so you know I am really only wondering not trying to be offensive… being a knitter, there used to be a colorway for yarn that was called Roadkill.

    But back to the beer: the Xmas cracker design is really cool!

    No offense taken. Yes, I find the name Elvis Juice a bit odd, makes me think of something else, lol. It also reminds me of how supposedly Michael Jackson did something like adding alcohol to cans of soft drink which he'd then call Jesus Juice and give it to kids.

    Never understood how that one gets a free pass, his music is never off the radio stations i listen to. I am very quick with the remote though.

    I really don't know what to believe when it comes to MJ, I'm 50/50 about it. I've always found the documentaries about him to be fascinating.

    Hi Ross! Awesome score! So are you going to wait until next year to open those crackers? The curiosity would just kill me.

    Is this a genuine quote from Robin Williams @StarryEyed?? I love it and might add it as my signature on here

    Hi Biblioklept. I don't know. There is a lot of misinformation on the net, as you know. But he could have said it because he was very vocal about his struggles with depression and addictions. So whether he said it or not, I think it's very fitting, especially since there are no quotations around the words. He was such a kind, beautiful man.

    Well, I drank Elvis's Juices last night, tastes like grapefruit, I highly recommend it. I also had a couple more of the other beers and some of the nuts too while watching The Avengers.

    I found it quite interesting that the woman at the checkout when I bought the nuts looked at them puzzled and asked 'How do you break them open?', and I said 'With a nutcracker'. I would've thought it's obvious, but maybe nuts at Christmas time have not been a common thing for years and so the younger generation are unfamiliar with this and so have never seen or heard of a nutcracker?

    StarryEyed, I'm not going to use them now as it wont be the same now that Christmas is over, I bought them for future Christmases, I'm not sure why though as I've had another box of crackers for around 3 years now, I keep forgetting to use them each Christmas.

    Very droll, Ross, but what those kids have been saying is quite sickening. If I was being cynical, I would suggest that some men are indeed too rich and too famous to prosecute, living or dead.

    Aromatherapy! I'm making mango and apple sauce. The apartment smells divine. Soon I'll be adding anise, cinnamon and cloves, which will be another heavenly smell. Sometimes the simplest comforts are the best comforts.
