Motorbility car - will my daughter be declined due to a prior fault claim?

I have just submitted my application for a mobility car. I have added my daughter on the policy as she done majority of the driving for me when I’m unwell. She has a fault claim from June 2023. Is she going to be declined to be insured due to this? Anyone’s experience?
The scheme website states that the no fault claims in last 3 years only applies to those on an open policy (like carers) but google AI says that I won’t be able to add her to the policy, I’m unwell a lot so need her added

    Firstly welcome to the community.

Regarding your question, the “no fault claims in the last three years” rule only applies to open policies, typically used by carers who drive multiple Motability vehicles. If your daughter is being added as a named driver on your lease, her fault claim from June 2023 does not automatically disqualify her.

The insurer will consider the nature of the claim, including severity, any points, or patterns. A single fault claim is not an automatic rejection, especially if she is otherwise a safe driver. If you are unsure, it is worth calling the insurance team directly to discuss the situation.
