LCWRA and caring

Hi,
I'm caring for my mother who has dementia. Im currently on UC with carers element and have applied for carers allowance (I'm aware it's deducted from UC when approved). Someone told me that I might be eligible for LCWRA because the scale of caring for my mum means I have no capacity for work, and it has deterious effects on my own health, eg sleep deprivation, stress, etc. Is this correct and would it be worth applying?
Thanks

You can see the LCWRA descriptors here.
You would need to submit continous Fit Notes & go through a Work Capability Assessment.
If awarded LCWRA it would replace Carers Element as under UC rules, the same person cannot payment for both.
