Hello @Redpanda2026 and welcome to the community.
Most “no win, no fee” firms only deal with injury claims, so for disability discrimination you’ll need an employment law specialist instead.
Three national firms stand out as strong options for your situation. Leigh Day are widely respected for their work on discrimination and Equality Act cases. Hodge Jones & Allen have a dedicated civil liberties and employment law team with a solid track record of supporting individuals in complex claims. Slater & Gordon provide UK wide employment law services and are known for making the process accessible and straightforward.
All of these firms work nationally, so you don’t have to be limited to Cheshire. The best step is to give them a call and have a chat about your situation. If they still take on disability discrimination cases under the Equality Act 2010, make sure you ask for the written Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) and check the success fee percentage carefully, so you can be certain the no win, no fee terms are suitable for you.
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing these difficulties. I hope you get the right support and that it’s all sorted out to your satisfaction, wishing you the very best of luck with it all.

Hi @Redpanda2026 and a warm welcome to the community
I see MW has already given some excellent advice and information so I won't add anything else today but its lovely to have you here and I hope you enjoy your time on the community😊0 -
Thank you to you both, ok rang all three only Leigh Day said possibly no win no fee they are going to ring me on Monday to discuss further. I think the harsh reality is that no win no fee only applies to injury claims, I think I am on a road to nowhere unless I fund the claim myself. Frustrating as I have a strong claim I just cant risk losing then facing a huge bill at the end, employers probably know this so can get away with not taking disability seriously.

Thanks for the update, it is really good that Leigh Day have not ruled it out and are calling you back on Monday. That is a positive sign in itself.
Just to say, ACAS can help too. When you start Early Conciliation, an ACAS officer will speak to both you and your employer to see if they can help you reach an agreement. It is completely free and you do not need a solicitor to use it, and sometimes employers take things more seriously when ACAS step in because it shows you are not dealing with this on your own.
