hi all I’m on lcwra and have been for a while my mum is my appointee and I have level 2 autism would it be classed as lifelong or be reassessed in 2026 it’s just really worrying me please if you can reply to this thanks

    Reassessments have been suspended for the majority getting LCWRA for many years and significant backlogs exist within the system.

    When they resume in significant numbers is anyone's guess.

    Conditions classed as lifelong will probably be extremely narrow with the DWP being secretive about how one qualifies, as with legacy ESA when almost nothing was known from publicly available information.

    You should be expecting to be reassessed at some point, it's somewhat inevitable unfortunately they'll likely catch up with us all sooner or later.
