Exactly, Catherine! This is what we need right now, people coming together and not making more of a mess as it already is in this world.

Here is an article on the Walk for Peace for those who want to know more.

In my experience Catherine the world is far more full of generous and willing people than some would have us believe!

The long walk from Jarrow (2017) book by Stuart Maconie is as thought-provoking as it is heart-warming. It's sometimes very funny too. It's meticulously researched and describes the experience of people involved with The Jarrow Crusade/March (1936). That was a similar protest here about poverty and unemployment, and the people involved found similar generosity across the country.

If you Googly it I'm confident lots of similar things have been done all over the world.

    Good luck

    😺

Hi @Catherine21 This is so beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for posting this. I too love seeing what people do for peace and cooperation. There are a lot of organisations doing this worldwide. Here is another fabulous one, called Playing for Change. This organisation coordinates musicians around the world to work together to record music. Here is the song that first started this project, a cover of Stand by Me.

    Here is their website:

Oh love the guitar and harmonica you know why they got rid of most church bells is because the vibrations sent positive frequencies across towns been looking back on history seen article about NHS hospitals they used to have linen sheets copper pipes cooper cups copper door handles light airy open air hospitals my dad was in one he had TB but my point is generally it was set up for proper wellbeing of the patients sorry I always go off topic there's a reason music called soul music 🎶

Yes, @Catherine21 I find it overwhelming too in a good way.

TB treatment used to be horrific. They were treated like lepers. But we're in trouble again. Medical care has become so complicated and costly that it's become an international crisis. They keep striking here in Spain now. That's the reason I moved to Spain - for better healthcare. Luckily I had my treatments just before the system started collapsing.

The talent in these recordings and the quality of the recordings is incredible. Here's one with Keith Richards. I think this is the best I've ever seen him. His top says it all. 😊
