What are you listening to right now?
Are you listening to any music, TV, or podcasts as you go about your day?
I'm doing a music project at the moment so I'm listening to a lot of ambient game and film soundtracks while I work. Not usually what I listen to but it's quite relaxing!

That's an interesting mix @luvpink! What kind of Irish music do you listen to? Is it songs or tunes with just instruments?

Mostly traditional Irish music and drinking songs.
I was brought up in an Irish household and mum and nan played the music a lot.
It keeps the happy times alive.

Lovely that you're keeping those memories alive @luvpink! Music is such a link to the past ☺️
That's a funky one @Ross1975, I've not heard that before. Thanks for sharing!
I'm now listening to a playlist a friend put together of Ghosts I-IV by Nine Inch Nails plus some other similar bits. I've never really listened to Nine Inch Nails before but my friend recommended it. Expanding my musical horizons 😁

I'm listening to a lot of Pop at the minute which is quite unusual! Lots of upbeat girly songs. A lot of Sabrina Carpenter, Madison Beer etc.
Keep going back to Gracie Abrams - The Secret of Us album quite a bit which is a little more emotional, but I like it 😊

My son has recently discovered Gorillaz and went to a listening party last night for their new album. It's really strange because I listened to them when I was his age! The singer is Damon Albarn who is also the frontman of Blur. It seems I've completely missed one of their albums from 2015 so I'm currently listening to that. I'm particularly loving this song.

Well @dolfrog led me down a very pleasant wormhole listening to Mark Knopfler (of Dire Straits fame) again. My son asked me why I wasn't listening to him more years ago… Mark Knopfler is a very sensitive songwriter & talented guitarist who has also written music for films, e.g. for Local Hero, & perhaps 'Going Home' is the best recognised:
