ESA being offered at reduced rate by ESA after I get Stste Pension
Does anyone know if the above is an ESA admin error only and that i must contact them to say theyre wrong? Or what should i do? I get Income related ESA at present which should stop at state pension but theyve written twice to say id still be getting it at a reduced rate 'due to age' so they must know i will be of pension age?? It doesnt make sense. Thsnk you.

Hi @Uthnoess and welcome to the community. I've found some information for you which confirms that it should stop at pension age. It says that you should contact the DWP to tell them to stop payments otherwise you could end up owing them money. Well done for spotting their error!

Thanks Rachel. I know im not the first to get these letters so im wondering if they are both an error AND a test of whether you will respond! If they get something like that wrong, what else are they getting wrong?! Mind-boggling.
