hi all I’ve seen an update recently saying they have nearly cleared a backlog and reassessments will start again from April I’m so worried I have autism level 2 I just keep thinking I’m going to be reassessed straight away it’s making me have panic attacks and I hate it someone please tell me what is going on at moment for reassessments

They are no where close to clearing the backlog of reassessments, it is doubtful they ever will be.

Hi @autisticluke1998 I know it's easier to said that done but please try not to worry as there is still really big backlog of assessments needing to be done😊

There was an article on the Benefits And Work site yesterday about the backlog being almost cleared.

I see where the confusion has come from.

That's claimant led reassessments, so where a claimant has put in a change of circumstances or prompted a reassessment, not reassessments generally. There is still a huge backlog of all reassessments.
