Another Donald Trump assassination attempt
Personally I suspect it was staged, like the one circa last November just before the Election, what do you reckon guys?

Staged really!
Are you for real?
2 -
Well it'd deflect attention away from his current antics in Iran.

I had this argument alot with a now estranged sibling. Just because something is a possibility, it doesn't mean that's what actually happened.

I saw that on the news
How scary

How do you know that? Surely some evidence is required, before making such an assertion?

I think it's probably only a matter of time before he gets shot and hospitalised again or gets shot and dies.

Hi everyone,
A number of posts in this discussion have been removed as they were not in keeping with our house rules.
We understand that people may have strong and differing opinions, but please keep replies focused on the topic rather than other members. Personal remarks, including name-calling, arenβt appropriate.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

I wonder just how many individual eyewitness accounts of the shooting are required, before the conspiracy peddlers stop and question their judgment?
2 -
It could well have been staged @SheffieldMan1976 and 'lousy actors' involved @Catherine21. Who really knows with the current occupant of the White House. Anything is truly possible. Sadly.
I'm not generally into 'conspiracy' theories; I am, however, 'into' anyone expressing an opinion and not requiring a peer-reviewed evidence base, or, indeed, any evidence, to proffer any opinion.
Who knows what will come out in the Epstein files, for example. Would 'its' millions of supporters really have voted for 'it', had they known? That's between them and their conscience I guess.
I'd say freedom to speak out 'trumps' everything else (only context in which I'll use the T word π€£).

@Catherine21 I hear you. It does not matter a jot to me, how many 'likes', 'awesomes' etc etc a person gets. Meaningless. I don't come on here for 'accolades' like that. Perish the thought. However, to 'keep it civil' I'll actually 'let' them have their 2 seconds worth of 'support'. I can happily let the deserved criticism go, for the sake of good 'order'. (Now I think I'm in the House of Commons again π€£ππ€£π) ORDER!!!!!!
YOU have my support (and many others here who dont speak out), wholeheartedly. I won't necessarily agree with you on everything but you've absolutely the right to express it without condescending, 'mean girl (or boy)' behaviour. Like I say, you need no evidence. Just your voice. It's as valid, as is your absolute right to express your opinion, as anyone else's. And with as much right to be heard as the next person.

If I may say @Catherine21β¦β¦. the key isβ¦. do not allow anyone to shut you down. Freedom of speech is absolutely not dying and whilst you, I, and very many others exist, it will not. Let's continue the discussion/debateβ¦.. I'll always welcome any challenge to my view. Just let's keep it civil. I am nobody's fool.

Where is your proof that it was staged?

Reread my posts ?π€£

Btw, are you ok?? Do hope so lovely.

Have you read my previous posts? I urge you to. No 'evidence' or 'proof' needed for my opinion. Feel free to challenge π« π.

Hey @Swiftfox, very happy to continue the debate that you've, belatedly joined. Do come join the (friendly/polite) party!! π

Unfortunately I can't get into big discussion or arguments or I get slow posted..But I do believe that where there's smoke there's fire, and there certaily was fire at this incident. I mean by fire, shots were fired and I wouldn't have thought you could dismiss that. But everyone believes what they want, it's a free country up to now.
But I suppose that could change any minute now. This is probably the fourth attempt on his life and I should think that people aren't going throw away thirty years of their life by staging an hoax. But this is only my opinion and everyone has their right to put theirs forward too. But if this last attempt by a lone gunman ends with an excecution or jail time, will all of come back here and say, yep, we were wrong?.

I seem to remember Albus used to say we should fact check before posting, what happened to that?
It's true, everyone has the right to an opinion, but it's only to be expected that fantastical, evidence free claims are questioned; indeed in real life one would be open to derision for such assertions.
If I said the Loch Ness Monster was in fact real, I probably should have some pretty solid evidence.
All I can say on the matter in question, is that we literally had a ballroom/conference hall full of journalists. Are they all in on the hoax, including the man who might now spend the rest of his life in prison?

You have both made me go into stitches. Could have been a serious debate but hey!! Here we are π ππ.
