Study: The Experience of Chronic Pain in the Workplace
Hi, I'm Sophia, an honours student at Massey University.
I am seeking insights from people working in physically active workplaces who experience pain or chronic low back pain.
Your insights will help us understand how chronic pain impacts work, what pain self-management methods are used, and how these methods might be improved for better use and implementation at work
Who is this for?
Workers or those that have worked in physically demanding roles who experience persistent pain in their daily life and want to reduce their pain at work, keep active, and increase their quality of life, through design that considers their pain experience at work.
How will the results be used?
Results will be used to communicate research through diagrams, describing how pain is experienced in the workplace and how design intervention may fit into workers’ lifestyles. All information presented in diagrams will be fully anonymized.
Contact can be made via the attached survey or by email if preferred. A pdf version is below for your reference.
Email me if you are interested in taking part in this survey.

Thank you for your time, it means a lot!
