Does Seriously Spreadable Vintage count ? Love that on crusty white bread
Apart from that only really enjoy extra mature cheddar and sometimes Maasdam with ham in a sandwich

The best burger i've ever had was a halloumi burger. It was in Bills about 10 years ago and it was a huge slab of halloumi with hummus, chilli jam, lettuce, cucumber and caramelised onion in a crusty white roll. Sooo delicious🤤🤤😍

I make a really nice 'squeaky cheese' burger sort of the same way, but I add a couple of rashers of smoked bacon and sans the hummus and cucumber (hates me after)

That sounds so tasty @WelshBlue, I've also seen people cook halloumi on skewers with veg like onion and pepper and always think that looks so delicious. Have you tried it like that?
Mmm mozzarella and cherry tomatos is one of my mams favourite summer lunches @Santosha12! She usually puts balsamic glaze over it and a bit of fresh basil too, I always think it looks (and smells!) so nice😍0 -

On the whole I agree … but cauliflower cheese with a roast dinner 😯
Nooo and those people who I know have it, have usually had the cheek to call me a wrong 'un
I enjoy Monterey Jack and cheese infused with chilli … but your stilitons and other 'stinky' cheeses are maybe too refined for my palate

I love cheese too, I have to limit myself though because of health. My favourite cheeses are Shropshire blue and American style hot honey.

My favourite is a simple strong(ish) locally produced farmhouse cheddar (I live in Somerset) - not the strength to take the enamel off your teeth - but enough strength to let you know what you are eating.
