And to answer your question further, Modern day science is a new concept to be honest. It has only been happening roughly for just about 100 years or less.

History of the "supernatural or ghosts/spirits" have been well documented throughout history before modern science even begun to study it. It has been documented in photo's as far back as photo's exist and even further with old tales on the subject and even in the bible itself.

Its abit naive to suggest that "Ghosts" have only been happening recently for views on TikTok and that the whole world is simple "making it up".

My daughter told me she saw her granddad appear in the assembly hall at primary school. My mum saw him at the end of their bed a few months before she joined him. Neither of them had ever mentioned ghosts before that so I didn't argue.

I have no reason to disbelieve Richard or Adrian Scope & other members of the Scope team, Andi66 , OverlyAnxious, WelshBlue & others; they are just talking about their experiences.

I can also appreciate scepticism if nothing out of the ordinary has happened to you, but they are not 'stories.' I have no reason to believe any of our members made them up.

What is disconcerting is members commenting on a post they're not actually interested in; injecting 'humour' or being derogatory to any member. I'm with @rubin16 on that one. This is what stultifies ongoing discussion on this forum, & has done for some time. Some members being disinterested in a post sometimes seek to close it down, perhaps.

I had a weird experience a few weeks after my Dad died. Every night for 3 nights running i woke up at the exact same time, 2.37 am, like a proper panicky feeling having been fast asleep. Also, i felt this weird tingling, itchy feeling in my hair and on my scalp, for the same 3 nights, then nothing after that. A week or two later, i was listening to the radio and Derek Acorah was on, the medium, and they were discussing how the dead 'contact' relatives, and he said, look out for a tingling sensation on the scalp, as this means they are near and want to reassure you they are doing ok……..so make of that what you will! It certainly was a strange feeling i got, and it was about 5 or 6 weeks i think after i lost my Dad back in 2004.

That's so eerie @Starman but sounds like it wasn't a scary feeling even before hearing that. And what timing eh for that medium to appear on the radio a few weeks later!

Well he used to be on the radio quite a lot back then, on the James Whale show late at night, but the weird thing was, he never mentioned how to look out for the tingling thing in the hair until after my Dad died. He used to get people ringing up, and he'd tap into their 'vibrations' i think he used to call them, he had his spirit guide Sam who helped him with a loved one who apparently came forward to say things to the caller. I found it interesting and intriguing as i find all things that are unexplained, i keep an open mind to all stuff like that, but i suppose i'm like a lot of others in that i do need 'proof' to fully believe! I know there are charlatans out there who trick people and are clearly trying to profit from someone's grief/loss which is terrible, but i do think there is something in clairvoyance, mediumship or whatever you want to call it.
