What makes you laugh when you need it most?!

When I'm feeling a little low, I sometimes turn to a comedian to chirp me up!

I love a bit of Monty Python (He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy), or Alan Partridge's "Knowing Me, Knowing You AHA (grrrrr)…or even a bit of Jackass, because no matter how old I am, seeing a grown man getting shot off a giant rocket still has me howling.

What/Who's your go to?

Any comedy works on me really. Just this minute I thought about a joke I heard at a comedy club over twenty years ago and I had to forcibly stop myself from keeling over at my desk.

    AHEM.

Anyway, if I HAD to narrow it down when feeling a bit flat, I'd whack on Taskmaster, Would I Lie to You, Scrubs or Modern Family. Or any solid British stand-up, really.

Never got into Jackass myself @Holly_Scope, will you be watching the new film?

Taskmaster is brilliant! Have you seen Man Down with Greg Davies? Also features the legendary Rik Mayall as his dad.

Oooo good choices there @SlowMode Love the office! Do you have a favourite - UK or US? I hate to say this, but I love the US version. Dwight is just brilliant!

@Holly_Scope The "Dead Parrot" sketch was a classic! We did a remake of it on my course a few years back, with me as John Cleese/Mr Praline.

It's on YouTube if you want to have a look, search for "FlyCheese Dead Parrot sketch"

I used to love watching repeats of 70s comedies such as On The Buses, not very PC and probably wouldn't be acceptable nowadays, also Fawlty Towers was a classic, even THAT episode (you know the one I mean), and back in the early 80s, Hi De Hi was a staple of my Sunday night telly.

They're both classics. They used to show re-runs but don't much anymore which is a shame. Did you like porridge and open all hours @SheffieldMan1976?

I'm going to watch that sketch now 😊
