Special tomato jogger

Hello. I wondered if anyone can help me source a second hand special tomato jogger. Currently using a second hand hauck jogger for my 6yr old PDAer and trying to find something larger and similar colour (grey) to help ease the transition. We claim DLA but will need to reapply in spring so I don't think we currently qualify for applying for help with mobility. Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi @FlamingoLyd and welcome to the community! I had to look up what a tomato jogger is as I'd never heard of it, so I've learned something today ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm not sure where you could find one other than looking at sites such as Facebook Marketplace or eBay. Hopefully one of our members will know of somewhere. Have you already tried to search for one?

I had to look it up as wellโ€ฆ Thought it was some sort of kitchen aid for preparing a salad! ๐Ÿง

A warm welcome to the community from me too @FlamingoLyd!

Are there any parent/carer groups for disabled children local to you? There may be somebody there who is looking sell or swap๐Ÿ˜Š

Looks like a very useful product, I hope you can find a way to get hold of one. Have you looked into getting a credit card to purchase one new?

Thanks everyone. Sorry I'm new to these community type posts so wasnt expecting so many responses. Appreciate everyone taking the time to reply and will look into the suggestions though I've been watching Facebook and eBay, usually collection in person and I am unable to travel far. I think I'm still coming to terms with the fact my little boy still often needs help with mobility due to his overwhelming anxiety of ever leaving the house. AI suggested trying Scope so thought I'd reach out. I have no idea what I'm doing if I'm honest ๐Ÿ˜… it's not urgent so I'll keep looking at the options.

If the collection-only items are much cheaper, you could consider organising your own courier to collect. There are various sites for this but I have used Shiply and AnyVan in the past.
