in Start here and say hello!

Hi everyone, I’m home alone a lot these days (I’m 56 and have just had to stop working for health reasons) and am here looking for a safe space where I can relax and be myself without being judged (my disability is often invisible) and where I can meet a friend or two and talk about all the fascinating things in life and maybe get advice on one or two issues.
I’m an introvert and empath, a wildlife gardener, a poet and a cat Mum and love flora and fauna, natural history, art, reading and knitting.
Am I in the right place? ☺️

    I'm trying to encourage wildlife in my garden too. I moved house a few months ago and was delighted to find a big old pond which I've reinstated into a wildlife pond. It's been so lovely watching all the life slowly move back in. And especially in this hot weather, it's nice to go down there and watch all the bees and bugs enjoying the water.
