    I'm both lucky and unlucky, my injuries are still with me but not enough to disable me in real terms, I have trouble walking on uneven ground as it causes havoc with my leg, but can still walk and do as the freedom is something I appreciate. So I am not disabled like my partner as she is in a chair, but I am not fighting fit either. Not retired yet, still got half a dozen years to go.

    Good to hear you're still plodding along. My accident wasn't enough to disable me either. It's just one of many medical problems that, put together with my mental problems, have added up to knocking me out of the game. In fact, on the outside, I'll probably only live another three years, which is still a long time to hold on. But I'm almost at the finish line, considering I've already clocked 62 years.
