PIP REVIEW WAIT TIME?

Hi I've already written another post on my review, reasoning was change of circumstances. Sent the form off on the 4th of August 26 and received a text on the 7th to say form received. My partner rang today to get an update and to update of a higher strength medication being added, they have said that the form as been assigned to an assessor, so I'm asking if anyone on here, as similar and wait time to be expected from them being assigned, I've been so stressed since I've done the form and can't help think was it worth it for all the stress

Hi @Manicman81. Unfortunately there are no standard waiting times. It can vary quite a lot. It's such a stressful time and lots of our members will be able to empathise with that.

@Manicman81 I returned my review form early feb this year,my previous pip award ended this week ,I've had four texts after the initial "we have received your form back" text, all saying same thing, its being "progressed".

Well, you can imagine my panic and anxiety,depression, stress, I'm jumping out of my skin at every sound, if the phone rings I feel sick, I rarely get phone calls, so I'm even more jumpy these past months, I actually have been in overdrive almost two years now knowing the review was due. I feel so alone in my worry. There's nothing in this world apart from losing a loved one or a loved dog that makes my disabilities 100% worse than dealing with these people. The pain, fatigue, panic attacks, lack of restful sleep increase and stay at a level,i even feel it exacerbates my asthma, i can barely cope with it all,I'm already living an existence like many of us,its not a life. Hope all will be well for you I truly mean that. Nobody deserves this hanging over them when we've so much to contend with daily. Take care.

I'm sorry the wait is making you feel this way @Doglover2. It really is an awful process to go through. Do you have any support at home?

@Rachel_Scope I try not to talk about it because they don't really understand, they do to a point, they get the stress and worry ,but i don't want to repeatedly go on about it, a friend who I only see about once a year said to call pip and ask where my claim is in the system, but I'm ,in all honesty, too terrified to deal with doing that. I thought I'd at least got a letter to say they were extending pip until it was sorted,but apart from the last text a month ago I've had nothing.

I sent in my renewal form in match room 3 weeks for them to say they had received ut

I added 3 new health conditions too

Still haven't heard anything
