Hi everyone.
I migrated to UC over a year ago from ESA with transitional protection.
I would like to engage a carer and have in mind a family member who is unemployed and in receipt of UC.
How will this affect both mine and their UC claims?

It wouldn't effect your UC claim as yours will not change in any way.
If your relative has Transitional Protection on their UC award, then it would reduce by the same amount as Carers Element.
