That must be a big change for you @JimH1984! What kind of accommodation will you be moving into? I'm sure our members will have some tips to share.

Hi @JimH1984
Will you be moving into your own home, or supported living? If you have meetings with social services about the next chapter of your life, it's okay to have someone at the meeting with you. I've found this really helpful when I've attended medical appointments and meetings.
Perhaps you could ask your foster parents? Even if you are moving out, I'm sure they will still want to support you.
Change can be difficult, but it can lead to new experiences as well.
We have the Cerebral Palsy Network which you are welcome to join. There is also a great Facebook page for adults with cerebral palsy. It's a great community where you can ask questions and get advice.
