Temporary inactivity and spasticity
Dear all
I'm 27, have spastic diplegia and have been temporarily indoors for the last fortnight or so due to a chest infection and snow and ice. Normally I go swimming three or four times a week, and I will be doing this again once the weather/my chest improves. I've noticed that in the meantime my leg muscles have become unusually tight and sore - I suppose this is a normal part of not moving around much. I'm still doing my physio exercises. Keen for the snow and ice to leave as really miss swimming. Presumably the tightness will ease once I get back to usual? Best Nuala
