I've heard that mid wheel drive (MWD) power chairs can sometimes cause bumping and vibrations when they're driven , and this can be uncomfy for users, but they are a popular choice . How many people here have experienced this?

I had a Harrier Plus for 14 yrs, now I've a mid wheeled Salsa M. The first year was the worst year in a wheelchair I had ever had but this turned out to be a problem with the tyres. Now, I believe this Salsa M is better if you take into count the sideways movement due to give in the suspension, which you do have to adjust to. As to bumping and vibrating this chair like all chairs will react to the ground its being driven on but a little less so as it has spring suspension.
Chairs are changing all the time and is worth going to the Naidex mobility show and test drive any chair you like.
