My daughter has high functioning Asperger, she has just started college in September, however her attendance is 52% through a mixture of illness and anxiety.
on Thursday they informed her she's lost her place in college and I will be emailing them a letter requesting all the information they have on her.
what are her rights at this point?

Does she have an education health and care plan?

Hi I wonder does the college have a stated obligation on its web site to people with mental health issues? if so may be worth exploring there provision for one to one if they they accepted your daughter knowing her issue.

If you declared disability/ her conditions then this is disability discrimination. They should have put in support to help her attend/send her notes or work via email or her preferred method so she can keep up. If she is under 18 they also have a duty to educate her.

or a hearing before the govering board of the college.

be sure her medical records and doctors statements are all there

in the usa title 6-7 or the frderal ada act, or the IDEA Regulations

I got told that I was too much of a risk by the risk assessment team at my college. I'm now not allowed on any site, because I was criminalized for my disability affects.

My daughter had her work lost by one of the teachers which ended up with my daughter having a massive panic attack and they called security to escort her off the premises, she was allowed to attend the other groups lesson which was meant to be level 1 but she ended up in with level 2 and level 3 students, they spent the lesson taking photos of her. She ended up being permently excluded which I appealed against and she was allowed to apply again this year, she had done this and had to go for a one to one interview in which the teacher said she sounded aggressive so the police were called and she was removed again.
