Hi Suekey, welcome to the community. Can you provide us with a little more info on your PIP application?

Hi suekey,
There is good information on how to appeal PIP decisions on the Scope website at http://scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/money/dwp-appeal If you have any specific questions after reading this please do post back.
Best wishes
Michael

there is also an excellent organisation called Benefits and Work and they, too, produce excellent guides.

suekey, if you haven't already done so, phone DWP and ask for a copy of your assessor's report.

Hi Suekey, As my colleague Michael suggests, have a look at the appeal guidance on the Scope site. I'd also have a look at PIP's points system - how you score points, what for, and how many points you need - you can find that information here. http://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/personal-independence-payment-pip/pip-points-system You need 8 points for the standard rate of each component, and 12 for the enhanced rate. By looking at the points system you can see where you should have got points and argue for the level of PIP you think should apply. Good luck!
