I have registered because I have a friend who has a teenage son with Autism and who at the moment is really struggling.  She and her husband and daughter have done wonders, but this past year has seen a tragic bereavement, and many other changes within their close-knit family and I hope that by registering,I can support her by collecting information which she might then find helpful.  At the same time, I believe that it will help me to be more sympathetic and perhaps enable me to understand what I might be able to do.
