Advice for going on to PIP

Hi my name is Hilary. I have a physical disability since I was a baby. I'm not 59yrs old. I have been on DLA for along time.

Next year I have to go on pip. Which I'm looking 4wards to. I have read some terrible stories about pip. And I was wondering of anyone has any advice??

Welcome to the community. There are lots of people here in a similar situation - you are not alone, and we are here to support you.
If you look through our benefits group - we'll see many discussions about applying for PIP, assessments and appeals. It can be stressful, and there are some bad stories out there - but this is not everyone's experience.
We also have specialist benefit advisors on here who might be able to help you if you don't get the result you were hoping for, or if there are other things that might help. You can ask them a question here.
