Hi Tracy
Welcome to the site. I hope that you will find it a useful resource.
My recently deceased mother-in-law was in a care home for the last year of her life as she was suffering from vascular dementia and my brother-in-law has now moved into a shared care home, so I know what you're going through in some ways.
Kind regardsJo, aka 'Mrs Logic'<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://faspie.blogspot.co.uk/">http://faspie.blogspot.co.uk/</a>

hi,
I worked in a care home for a while. Palliative care.
its hard work and sometimes its quite challenging. Financial rewards dont really reflect the work put in in care work, I think that this is one of the greatest scandals going.
You have your work cut out between your job and your home life by the sounds of it.
Just thought id say hi
