Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with scoliosis after years of hip/ back / shoulder issues. My union rep at work has advised me to look into disability benefit as this condition affects my everyday life and is starting to negatively impact my job. My workplace are being very unsupportive and are making me jump through hoops to prove I have scoliosis even though they've had several letters from healthcare professionals.

I'm not sure how to go about looking into this. I'm 35 and a nurse.0

Hi @GillStivey1982
How are you? A very belated welcome to the community.
You might be eligible for Employment and Support Allowance.
Scope has a benefits checker which will be able to find what benefits you might be eligible for.
Sorry to hear that they've been so unsupportive. Have you considered that it might be discrimination?0
