Hi all, I'm struggling with a 16 year old with asd. He has started to self harm. Cahms are not helping!!

    Hi, thanks for your reply. We have extensively researched ASD, and that has helped us immensely, what's worrying me is that this is the third time he's suffered these episodes, most worrying symptoms are hearing voices telling him to hurt or kill himself, the voices also tell him that he's fat, useless etc. He also strongly believes that the internet is watching him and gathering information on him, and that there are spiders in his hair. He is utterly convinced of these . Anybody else been through anything similar ?
