Job opportunities for my son

Hello
Hoping someone can help me? My son is 22 years of age, diagnosed with 'semantic pragmatic language disorder' but no idea what that's called now! His autistic traits can be a bit subtle, he's pretty capable but he needs clear direction, and doesn't 'think out of the box' (unless its a computer game and then he's an expert). He's worked for my husband since leaving school and proved himself to work well with supervision but that stopped some time ago. We don't claim any benefits for him.
What sort of thing can the careers office offer him? He can't offer qualifications. Are there other organisations I should be contacting?
Thank you in advance. I've tried to be short, I have a tendency to prattle on.
