Hello Dave and welcome
I am so sorry that you find yourself in such a situation.
First thing to do is put your details into an online benefits calculator. there is one on this site. This wil give you an indication of any entitlements

Hi @Dave55 welcome to the community, I am very sorry to hear about your wife and the cancer.
Have you been in touch with Macmillan, they have amazing resources and support.
I would also suggest you look at the benefits calculator to see what you could be entitled to.Scope
