I am about to advertise a Personal Assistant Job vacancy. This is to care for my son.'Am I allowed to state in the ad that only males can apply?
or, will I just have to weed out any female applicants.......my son want a male to care for him.
i do not want to break any employment laws......,help please !

I am not 100% certain but think you would be in trouble re discrimination & equality if you stated male only in the ad.

If it involves personal care then yes it is generally considered to be justified to discriminate on the physical sex of the position.
