ESA and notice pay

How does income based ESA treat a taxable notice pay payment from an employer? I am talking about an employee who is still technically employed, but doesn't work and who is already in receipt of income based ESA, and whose sick pay has ran out.

Hi @RSISolutions, hopefully one of our Benefits Advisors will be able to help you with your query as soon as possible.
In case you haven't already seen it, Scope also provide the following information on ESA which you may find helpful in the meantime. -
Hello RS1Solutions
It is likely that pay in lieu of notice will be classed as earnings and taken into account when calculating entitlement to ESA.
