ESA and notice pay

How does income based ESA  treat a taxable notice pay payment from an employer? I am talking about an employee who is still technically employed, but doesn't work and who is already in receipt of income based ESA, and whose sick pay has ran out.

    Hello RS1Solutions

    It is likely that pay in lieu of notice will be classed as earnings and taken into account when calculating entitlement to ESA.
