Hello,
I am the French mother of a blind girl of 7 years old schooled in ordinary class. I will move next year to the UK. I would like to know what would be the best school for my little daughter old schooled in ordinary class. I will move next year to the UK. I would like to know what would be the best school for my little daughter.
Would it be possible to discuss by email or social network with parents of blind young children attending school in mainstream school?
Could you please inquire about this?
Thank you very much

Hi @laurence
I've just had a quick look around our pages and I found this link here. https://www.scope.org.uk/Support/Service-directory
It's a 'Services Directory'. If you put the area you are moving to into the search box, it'll bring up resources in that location. Even if it doesn't bring up schools, I think there should be links to groups that cater to the needs of disabled children or adults in that local area.
It's worth trying some of the links that come up and maybe emailing or phoning them.
I hope that helps a little. Best of luck settling into the UK. It rains a lot, but you'll grow to love it.
