Hi @Traceydee,
Welcome to the community great to hear your find this helpful.
Sorry to hear how anxious your feeling while awaiting the decision did you ask for an update (or an estimate of how long it would take) when you asked for a copy of the f2f appointment?
If things don't go to plan please don't panic although I appreciate that's easier said than done. We have lots of community members and specialists on hand to talk you through the next stage (if its needed).
Keep us posted with the outcome.
Best wishes,
Kirsty

Hi @traceydee,
No harm in chasing them again today- if they have reached a decision and it’s in the post I’d suspect Royal Mail might have a bit of a backlog too.
Fingers crossed its good news for you!

One thing i was wondering if any one could help at all - if im awarded pip - do they send you pay back from when you claim mine was 13th Oct 16 - or from the f2f appointment 7-12-16- i have been asking but some get from claim and some from f2f - so im confused - im already on dla for life x

Hi Tracey
Normally the decision will reflect the HCP recommendation
If you are still receiving DLA then that should be paid for four weeks following your decision and your PIP award will start the day after

Hi, I can understand the worry. I will need to be moved from DLA to PIP. I don't even have anything requesting I start the process and yet I worry a lot of the time about how they will try to take my help away. I have had to stop looking at a lot of posts regarding awards, assessments and decisions because they made me worry even more. The system is so busy trying to screw us over they don't see the negative impact they are having and how they are makings things worse for so many.

Hello Traceydee
It's great news that you agree with what the HCP decided. As CR stated generally the decision maker will follow the recommendations of the HCP.
In regards to payment as you were on DLA, PIP should follow on from DLA. That is there should be no gap in your payments.
Kind regards
Maria
