Need to strengthen hands & fingers

Hi Folks

My hands and fingers are very weak compared to the average person.  Could someone kindly suggest any exercises that I could perform in order to strengthen them?

Also, I have problems in coordination of both hands.  Can someone suggest what I can do or who I can consult in order to improve the coordination?

Do you know why you have weakness in your hands? Have you had any diagnosis around this? 

It may be good to see your doctor to check up on this and as @Victoriad says perhaps get a physio referral?

I had loads of problems at birth and I am generally weaker than an average person of my age.
