hi catherinerichards
Yes there is help but you will probably have to fight for what works for you.
Work with your GP, try and get a referal to a pain management clinic

Hi Cathie,
It's hard, really hard a life with chronic pain. But it is doable and it is a life worth fighting for.
So sorry to hear, pain is so **** isn't it..
It sounds life you're at the start of it all and there is help out there.
I can't stand more than 10 seconds or so and am now using a wheelchair outside the house. At the time (4 years ago) it felt like a big step but it has given me a lot more back. When I sit I have less pain so using wheelchair has made some things much better.
It's taking time... But gradually am making my home easier to live in.
It's F ING hard. And I've hard many times where I don't understand why life is like this.. ..But there have also been amazing times I'm glad to have been here for.
Medication.. Took me about 2 years to sort out my basic medication.... And I recently adapted it again. But again, worth the effort.
Did you get pain clinic referral?

I almost passed out with fatigue and pain today after being out on essential excursions on my feet. Try my best to do one activity per day but sometimes it’s more because I can’t change it. It really has a knock on effect.

Hi Cathy .sorry to hear you are also in the chronic pain team..for me personally going from being healthy fit youngish female ,loved work socialising .if found trying too an almost opposite life very hard and mostly frustrating .after breast cancer aggressive treatment ,etc been left like a different person..I've stopped boxing classes too mindful movement, mad notes out too struggling past nine o'clock .but I'm grateful I'm here even at a completely different pace .fianances and benefit system has been so stressful .but I find it very helpful speaking too others on support networks.saying no too lots of things and trying too be kind too myself .it really is the smallest of things that can help .its good too no your not alone xx1
