Paper Based PIP Appeals

What happens when you send further evidence for a paper appeal? As people aren't told when these are held, how do you know that they will include the further evidence with the rest of the paperwork?

Is it true that they send you copies of your evidence back with the pages numbered to add to your bundle?
any additional evidence ( copies ) should also have your name and NI on each page. If you are referencing to the bundle you should use the tribunal page numbers
you should also number your addittions for ease of reference

So the tribunal services send your evidence back to you?
Any new evidence you send should be number by you in a way that they can understand ie. A1, A2 etc they will then send copies to the DWP

My first thought on reading your post is that success rates are MUCH lower at a paper hearing than at an oral hearing. And so if there were any way you could get to an oral hearing you would be far more likely to get a positive outcome. Even if you have chosen a paper hearing you may still be able to opt for an oral hearing and you should contact the Tribunal's Service as soon as possible if you would like to change it.
But if you opt for a paper hearing ... you are not sent notice of when the hearing takes place, it takes place in your absence and you are then notified of the outcome. You should send your arguments in writing along with any supporting evidence (this is called a reply) as soon as possible. You must send your reply within one month after the date you were sent the DWP's response. This can be extended if you need more time. If the paper hearing takes place before the month is up you may be able to challenge the tribunal's decision on the ground that it made an error of law.
I hope this helps.
