Thanks Sandy and emancherry33. I'm only an amateur but it's a fun hobby for people who aren't able to get out much - even if you can get out - it's especially good to do in the winter - The big pink bear wasn't finished in this pic (I hadn't put the eyes on and it has a music box inside it. I am working on a fabric dolls house at the mo. Anyone who likes these and wants to sew them too; Some of them are Simplicity patterns through Sew Direct a UK company online
The best toy patterns I have found are by a company called 'Funky Friends' You can get them direct but also through etsy - she's fantastic Australian lady who has loads of animal toy patterns - she has a newsletter and runs competitions for free patterns, maker of the month and also always needs 'voluntary pattern testers for new designs. It's a little sewing community which makes it more fun too.
You can get all sorts of eyes/embellishments for craft/sewing from Cello Express online (much cheaper than Hobbycraft) and all the fabric came from Charity Shops. - I took up needle felting during lockdown but I'm not so good at that - the teeny brown bear sat on pink bear is needle felted and there's a tiny grey rat holding a flower which is also needle felted.1 -
Lovely photos . Wishing I was as good. Your true stars who are very talented.0

Caught my first pike yesterday, should have warm boots4

Wow @emancherry330
-
Thankyou so much strawberry1 - you have boosted my confidence. emancherry the pike is awesome - what bait did you use and how much did it weigh?
My Dad would be jealous - he's a bit of a fisherman but he mainly goes after Tench and Carp - I tried once with Dad when I was a kid - 1st cast out got caught in a tree and when Dad tried to untangle it all I kept winding the reel so the hook got stuck in his thumb .. LOL Like I was only about 10 yrs old though but I wasn't very popular after that.2 -
@Emille the pike was just over 9lbs and caught with maggots on a feeder good fight to get in. A few other fish caught as well3

Hi folks, I wanted to post a pic of a new sewing project I finished but I can't work out how to post pictures. I posted some before but I forget how. I used the attachment feature on here and chose my picture but when I go to preview my post the picture doesn't show up ... I don't get it ? Could someone help me pls. Thanks0

Hi Emilie for me using my mobile it comes up with 2 options, 1. To get it from the phones hard drive which often does not work for me or to select it from my photo album which consists of a on screen photo symbol which I need to press and select pictures but yours may be different. Hope it helps...0
