Hi gang, I wonder if the letters that explain the yearly increase have all been sent I normally have recieved them by now or has there been a delay, I'm waiting on my PIP and ESA one's.

Just hoping they've not gone missing and is there any of you in the same boat regarding this and not recieved them yet.

You mean you get a yearly letter from the above that increases benefit?

@whistles Yes, the ones that tell you what the rates are from April of each year for ESA, PIP, and DLA. As I've always had them by now and worried they've gone missing or not delivered.

Ah can't help you. My award starts then so already had letters telling me of the changes.

    Esa goes up by £2.

Oh dear, I was hoping for responses to members that haven't recieved them?
I know how much everything goes up by. Thanks anyway.

I must take my pills, I believe I must be wording everything wrong today or not explained myself or it very well :#

Perfect answer @CockneyRebel I mean that in a nice way. I'm glad they've not gone missing as yet.

what date was the PIP one date as that will give an idea how long it's been stuck in the mail before you recieved it if you don't mind divulging that info.

@ Governments a Joke I only got my PIP uprating letter today and haven't had the ESA one yet. The extra PIP money on mine amounts to about £2 or £3 quid pw. So the DWP have taken £60.00 pw from me and given me £2 or £3 quid back - wahooo!

I don’t understand why it takes weeks to receive letters from DWP ??
Totally different story when they cut/stop your award.
    Unreasonable and unfair

Letters and payments/ stoppages are actioned at the same time. Payments are made or stopped electronically as are notifications to other departments which happens almost instantly.
Letters of confirmation etc. go into a queue for printing and then second class posting
