I'm a carer for my daughter and my husband who both have fibromyalgia. I would love tips from other unpaid carers, who have experienced the difficulties of having to split their time and energy between work and being an unpaid carer.

Hello Carol @CarolD and a warm welcome to the community. Very glad you've found us.
You might like to have a look at our Parents and Carers thread at https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/carers-of-disabled-children-and-adults and see if there are any conversations or resources there that might be of use to you. You will probably also hear, over time, from other members in a similar situation.
There is also a video here https://community.scope.org.uk/discussion/35980/road-to-resilience-how-to-avoid-feeling-overwhelmed#latest (it says 'parents' but clearly applies to carers too) which might be of interest to you.
If you don't find anything that's of help or if there is anything else at all that I can do to help support you, please do not hesitate to get back in touch with us.
Very warmest best wishes to you,
Richard0 -
