hi
i work full time can I claim for any payments. I find it hard to walk any distance as my back gives me grief. Where I work is only 5 mins away but I still use my car. I was also wondering if I get to see a doc can they help with going swimming as been told it’s good for my back. My hubby does not work so I get working tax credits for him as classed as low income. I know I have babbled on a little sorry for that

You may not be able to claim for your self but if your husband disabled or I'll he may b able to claim PIP. Do a self test on the site works and benefits. Be honest with yourself as the answers you write in the PIP applecation form have to be justified at the f2f accessment.

    Hi
my hubby had a valve replacement in his heart about 10 years ago and has not been able to work a few years back had a pacemaker fitted. But we do not claim anything as thought you could not.

It says you have to be on other benefits to claim carers. I do not understand any of the benefit system as never done it before. Thanks in advance for me being thick ha ha

    Hi alice

It is possible that both your husband and your self could claim PIP.
PIP is non means tested so you can claim and continue to work
PIP is to help people that have difficulty with certain daily activities and mobility

Have a look at the B&W self test, complete it for each of you and see

    http://www.mybenefitsandwork.co.uk/pip/indexxx.php

It is a good idea to get a full benefits check from CAB or similar

    Hi
i have checked that out and we are both able to do most things unaided. The only problem I have is walking, standing still to long and sitting to long. My husband manages daily things fine. What annoys me is the prescription charges he is on Warfarin and if he does not take this he could die. But we still have to pay for it. Sorry rant over.

    Hi alice

If you are on a low income you can apply for an HC2 cert
